Since Zele-Racing officialy stopped racing activities at the End of 2017, the big difference for the 2018 Season was, that our main activitiy was Freelance Engineering for several top Teams around the Globe.
Priority for the 2018 season was the full season engagemant with iconic Japanese Team Nakajima Racing in Superformula. Together with young race engineer Yuki Kato (JPN) we looked after Narain Karthikeyan (IND) in his Dallara -Honda SF14.
Besides the successful cooperation with Lechner Motorsport in the Porsche GT3 Middle East and some Porsche Supercup races, we also attendes several races in Scandianvia with Oscar Palm Motorsport and helped Oscar Palm to secure runner-up in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. We also attended some races in the Porsche Mobil Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany to gather addidional podiums.
From May (Villa Real WTCR event) onwards Zele-Racing teamed up with Belgian WTCR Audi – Team ComToYou to once again work with Denis Dupont (BEL). This very successful combination would result in two Podiums at the Chinese Rounds at Ningbo and Wuhan.
Sadly we had to accept that Hermann Zele passed away in Summer 2018 which obviousely left a big hole in our hearts and the company.
